God called Pastor Drew Zuehlke to plant a church in the Columbia Heights neighborhood just north of Minneapolis, Minnesota. Drew has an exciting vision to reach this community with the gospel and establish a ministry presence in this diverse and multicultural community. Hope Community Church — Heights started in 2020 as a multisite location of Hope Community Church.

On this Apex trip you will come alongside Pastor Drew and Hope Community Church — Heights to learn about church planting and see how God can use your students in reaching new communities. Drew offers great practical activities to engage students, leading them to understand and even consider church planting. Your students will also come alongside Hope Community Church as they serve their community and open doors for the gospel.

How You'll Serve

  • Learn about church planting and hear stories of how God is using people to reach this community — Drew will share with your students and connect your students with local gospel influencers who are faithfully allowing God to use them for gospel impact in their communities.
