This summer is the fulfillment of a huge dream of mine to go to Germany. I have German background/family, and have always had a heart for this country. While the idea of ministry has been a part of my journey for a long time now, as I have been heading towards university graduation, God has been making it very clear that I need to trust him with the next years of my life to him and follow him in ministry to others, and for now, he has placed Germany in front of me as the place to go. I am extremely passionate about working with different cultures, and have a heart for anyone who is hurting. I love working with and fighting for refugees and those who are exploited/trafficked. I am so excited to spend this time in the city, getting to know the team in Berlin, getting to know the culture, and see if this is something that I could see myself doing for a more long term time-frame. Please join with me in this adventure as I am taking a step into very unknown territory for me by praying with me for this time and my team. Please also consider donating as well as a support of what God is leading me and the team in Berlin to do this summer for his glory and the furthering of his kingdom.

Trip Overview

Dive into the urban world. No syllabus, no homework, just real life experiences and life-changing conversations. Life in the city demands diverse approaches to ministry and flexible thinking, and Apex will expose you to local leaders and mission staff who are finding fresh ways to transform their communities with the gospel.

Immersed in Berlin's diverse culture, you'll spend time at gathering spots around the city to hear from locals and serve alongside others to help refugees and Berlin's homeless population. You'll prayer walk through emerging communities, visit a start-up church and serve the city by serving its people and our partners.

You'll live with others in one of Berlin's 12 districts, commuting daily to experience the diversity of the city. Berlin will start to feel like home as you fall in love with the expansive public transport system, the abundant parks, the flea markets, the creative and organic vibe of the city, and the residents themselves.

Every Apex team is as unique as the projects and ministries they support. A multi-faceted city requires creativity, openness to change and a wide variety of people. If you are tired of the status-quo and ready for a challenge, Apex can take your faith and leadership to the next level as you learn to engage the post-Christian mindset in one of Europe’s most influential cities.
