Berlin, the capital of Germany, is full of unique architecture, museums, and local beauty. On this trip you will have a closer look at this diverse city while impacting those who call Berlin home. You will have the chance to step out of your comfort zone and see how your talents can impact the urban world. Not only do we want you to make an impact on others, but we want you to be impacted as well. By growing in your relationship with Christ as you experience ministry in a whole new way.
Here in Berlin, we are focused on seeing Berlin transformed by the power of the gospel, that it has a regional and global impact. We do this by partnering with a variety of churches and ministries. And with more than 98% of the population in Berlin not being believers, it is important to build relationships with believers and non-believers alike to be able to reach the city. Berlin needs everything, so whatever you are passionate about and skills you have to offer, Berlin can use it!
Berlin has something for everyone, we welcome students who are excited and eager to serve and learn! Each week we will have a different focus on where we are serving and what ministry we are learning about. This allows you to get a full taste of what we do to reach Berlin.
Some of these outreach possibilities includes:
Young Adults summer project
Prayer outreach and prayer walks throughout the city
Arts Outreach- visual and performing
The summer also has a heavy focus on Urban ministry and experiencing what it’s like to be a Christian in a post-Christian culture. All the while we are walking along side of you to see how God may be calling you.
Come join us this summer and take your faith and leadership to the next level while working with local leaders and ReachGlobal staff. We want to help transform Berlin with the gospel and we would love for you to join us! The real life experiences of learning to engage in post-christian cities will be a blessing you’ll never forget.
Application Due April 1st, 2020
Berlin is one of the most vibrant, cosmopolitan cities in Europe. You won’t see a lot of Lederhosen on the U-Bahn, the city's public transit system, but you might encounter a tech start-up, a sculpture artist, a politician and a plethora of cafes — all within walking distance. With 12 distinct yet inter-related districts, and the transportation to match, you will fully experience this historic, trend-setting and post-Christian city.
